This new Metricson offering integrates AI governance and trade secret protection services.
Metricson launches a new service on the market that acts as a double legal shield designed to protect the competitiveness of tech companies in the new European regulatory framework. This new offering integrates AI governance and trade secret protection services, areas led by Luis Gosálbez, founding partner of the firm, and Estefanía Asensio, head of the compliance area at Metricson.
Through the protection of business and industrial secrets, Metricson helps companies identify, classify, and legally protect all that know-how, algorithms, customer lists, or industrial secrets that cannot be registered through traditional channels. By adopting technical and organizational measures, and contractual shielding under the Trade Secrets Act, a legal barrier is built that allows mitigating the risks of information leakage and actively pursuing any misappropriation or unauthorized use of their most valuable assets.
Metricson seeks to transform the regulatory obligation derived from the European AI Act and the Trade Secrets Act into an asset that shields algorithms and data against the scrutiny of international investors.
“With strict protection of trade secrets, we do not block innovation, but rather ensure that founders maintain real control of their assets and their know-how, which is what investors actually pay for in a round,” notes Luis Gosálbez.
