After another consecutive year, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) is once again opening a new call for voucher applications that allow access to partial reimbursement of fees related to the application for trademarks, designs, patents, utility models, and plant varieties.
What are the deadlines to submit my application?
The periods enabled to request the grant will begin on February 2, 2026, and will remain open until December 6, 2026. You should keep in mind that funds are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so the sooner you submit your application, the more likely you are to benefit from the vouchers.
Who can benefit from the grant?
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) established in the European Union, as well as individuals or self-employed workers who can prove an economic and legitimate link to the activity they perform, can benefit.
What activities are eligible and what is the amount of the reimbursable fees?
- Trademarks and designs voucher (national, regional, EU, or international): the EUIPO subsidizes fees up to a maximum of EUR 700.
- National patents voucher in a national IP office of an EU Member State, the EUIPO subsidizes up to a maximum of EUR 1,000 and/or European patents filed at the EPO, up to a maximum of EUR 2,500 .
- Community plant variety protection voucher (EU): up to a maximum of EUR 1,500.
Can I apply for the grant again if I have already benefited from it previously?
Yes, you can apply for the grant again, even if you have obtained the grant in previous editions. This is an annual program and, therefore, you only need to meet the requirements of the current program.
